Intermediate Bulk Container. A reusable industrial container designed for the transport and storage of bulk liquids, typically holding 275-330 gallons.
Common shorthand for an IBC tote. The terms "IBC," "tote," and "tote tank" are used interchangeably in the industry.
An IBC consisting of an HDPE inner bottle inside a steel outer cage on a pallet base. The most common IBC type, designated UN type 31HA1.
High-Density Polyethylene. The thermoplastic polymer used for IBC inner bottles. Offers excellent chemical resistance.
A used IBC professionally cleaned, inspected, and restored for reuse with new valves and gaskets.
